It is the 1997 Demarini Ultimate Distance Doublewall softball bat.

This is the most sought after bat of all time.

This one weighs in at exactly 26.8 oz

What you see here is a well used version with a unique twist.

The end cap is notorious for separating, cracking and acting up on these bats.

The previous owner had someone weld on an endcap that is metal, which is much different than the typical rubber endcap plug.

I have not hit this bat, so I cannot tell how much this addition helps or hurts the performance.

Like most 1997 Demarini Ultimate Distance bats, this one has some flat spots.

We counted 4 noticeable flat spots.

This bat is not perfect, but should still be able to mash the ball. Please do not use it in any weather near or below 60 degrees, though!
